Oh, forgot to mention, the other comic that Lesley-Anne loves is Sherman's Lagoon. Sherman is hilarious - he really is the shark version of Homer Simpson!

You touched on a sweet spot - comics! My kids love them all, whether it's Garfield, C&H (seriously, this one let yr kids read at yr own risk!), Tintin, Asterix or Snoopy. L-A loves Baby Blues too.

I love the Far Side too, my favourite strip of all time is the natives running helter skelter with their tv sets and other material goods, yelling "Anthropologists!!"

Stephen's looking at some C&H now and I realized that one of the reasons he didn't like it before is because one of the books we have is a mix of color and black and white. He prefers color. geeeeez So far he seems to be enjoying it, though.

Nermal is annoying...so he should be rightfully tortured by the awesome Garfield :)

The boys love Garfield, but probably Calvin&Hobbes even more. They never really got into Asterix but they do like Tintin. Another Goscinny comic that I like and have introduced to the boys is Iznogoud (http://www.iznogoudworld.com/), lots of puns and silly humour.

C&H is great but for sure, Calvin is no role model for (most) kids, so be prepared :) On the other hand, Stephen will be transported into Calvin's strange, imaginative, alternate realm of reality where dinosaurs and time-machines abound.

Monica is a huge fan of C&H too and Andre was very much like Calvin, though lots milder now that he's older.

Oh, I enjoy The Far Side too, but sometimes it requires quite a bit of thinking :P

Nice camera :D

Hehe, skipping rope indoors!! Your kiddies are growing up so quickly.

As for digital cameras... we have a nice DSLR which I've yet to figure out. I forget what it is because it's so rarely used! And when it is taken out of its bag, it's Jason who uses it :-)

I mostly use my Pentax Optio because it's tiny and convenient, but it's not a great camera. Even Jason's Palm Pre has a better camera (his can't take videos though, I think)!
