I have never found jeans to be comfortable especially in hot and humid Singapore. Denim is too thick and often too stiff. Granted, I’ve never owned a pair of jeans from a high-priced boutique so they might be different.
If given a choice, would you wear jeans or something else?

Jeans! I’d live in jeans. But I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $25 on a pair. My faves right now were on sale for about $15 from JCPenney. Sooooo comfy and fit nicely.
Great price! Color?
Jeans are my staple. I found a style that i like and hv stuck w it.
What style’s your favorite?
Hmm…there’s just one particular style I like from Marks & Spencer. I stick to it bc I don’t have too much time to shop around and explore. Dark Denim stretch. And there’s petite size so I don’t need to shorten the length.
GAP is still the best for jeans in terms of variety. Definitely the uniform of choice in Silicon Valley. Shorts are slowly becoming a staple too.
