Okay, since they weren’t abandoned, I’m still horrified that someone that old was given IVF at all, not to mention astonished that she was able to maintain a pregnancy at 59! Yikes.

The more reputable Times UK says that the twins and their elderly parents do exist but that the babies weren’t abandoned….

It’s an article in The Sun. Isn’t that a tabloid? Unless the BBC picks it up, I wouldn’t worry too much.

But if it is true, it’s appalling.

I think I am more horrified that someone was irresponsible enough to give them IVF. I suspect that if they are that selfish to abandon their twins then someone else will probably parent them better, someone who chooses to have them and love them. Also, someone who might live long enough to see them to adulthood!

Okay, key right there is that they do not love children, but at least they let them live instead of aborting them early on.
