And having to later re-purchase all the supplies we already have, when we finally have some time to put into our hobbies, makes no sense what-so-ever. Especially when the economy is going into a recession, and finding good quality supplies is becoming harder. (one of my local fabric shops quit carrying DMC!!! Now they carry a cheap made-in-China "equivalent". The strands are thinner, and they feel,... weird. Stiff? Thankfully there are still a couple other places that carry the DMC. Swimming definitely counts as a hobby but it is so NOT my thing. And it's not the whole bathing suit issue either. We were made to swim for a few months each year in high school and it was traumatizing because I wasn't very good at it and drank more pool water than I care to remember.... Rosie, Oooh.
