Finance Jobs Are Not So Useful

A comment from a WSJ Juggle post about how losing your job can affect your kids referring specifically to the Bear Stearns meltdown:
If you are depending on so-called “finance” jobs for your work you might consider learning a skill that is more practical and useful.

Yeah, that’s why I quit my finance job - to go into the lucrative world of blogging! Not.

What the hell? Oh wait, I must be safe as an accountant because that is completely different from “finance.” Yeah, that’s what I will keep telling myself.
Sheila, Quite honestly, I don’t have a clue what a “finance” job is. I’m not very good with money. heh
