Unfortunately, quite a few of those poseurs were actually studying their butts off while saying they were partying while the rest of us were.... Uh. Never mind. LOL When I visited Caltech as a pre-frosh, there was the same atmosphere. Those who put off studying until the last minute and still did stellar work were the most revered. Yup.
