If you haven't started already, it won't be long before you are 'tinkling' every 20 minutes bell or no bell! I know a few people who said their babies always calmed down when they heard a song that mom played a lot during pregnancy. So, it probably couldn't hurt to acclimate baby to a lullaby you like so you can pull it out some sleepless night and see if it helps. My kids always fell asleep the moment I started typing! That's a sound they got very used to while they gestated! Like you need a bell to make a tinkling sound!
