MoOOo Tinkle Tinkle

As if I don’t already feel like a fat cow:
Some expectant mothers wear a bell on their tummy. Thus, the baby becomes familiar with a happy tinkling sound along with the noise of the bowels and the beating of his mother’s heart.

That’s very strange. I think I would get annoyed listening to myself tinkle all the time, nevermind baby…
No kidding!!! I think a better idea is to strap a small speaker to the tummy that issues dictums like: “Thou shalt obey your mother and father.”
Like you need a bell to make a tinkling sound! If you haven’t started already, it won’t be long before you are ‘tinkling’ every 20 minutes bell or no bell!
I know a few people who said their babies always calmed down when they heard a song that mom played a lot during pregnancy. So, it probably couldn’t hurt to acclimate baby to a lullaby you like so you can pull it out some sleepless night and see if it helps. My kids always fell asleep the moment I started typing! That’s a sound they got very used to while they gestated!
Joan, Our house is definitely already filled with merry tinkling!
Perhaps #2 will learn to sleep soundly while I shout at #1. HaHAHa
There is no way I’d have ever worn bells on my belly. *giggle snort*
Deb, No bells but what DID you wear? haa
