Rosie, Have you not realized yet that I’m damn lazy? Tests require lots of prep, etc. and success isn’t always guaranteed.

Very interesting post.

Things I DON’T like, and DON’T do well (sometimes I just don’t even do at all):
1. ALL housekeeping-related activities (eg bed-making, clothes-folding, vacuuming. picking up after kids etc);
2. Making small talk with other school mummies;
3. Exercising & eating healthily.

Things I DON’T like, but do anyway:
1. General hygiene (wash hair, shower, brush teeth, floss sometimes, skincare);
2. Baking;
3. Drinking water.
4. Applying makeup.

I’ll need to get me some of that ’stalwart attitude’ if I’m to drum this into my kids!

I’m with you on the shower thing. More specifically, I hate hate hate washing my hair but I do it once a week whether it needs it or not. Heh.

That is so funny, I just used that line on my eldest today when he was fussing about having to do the math and computations for his science fair project! “It doesn’t have to be fun, it just has to be finished!”

I absolutely loathe brushing my teeth. And I don’t do it very often or very well. Ow.

However, I’m surprised you don’t like taking tests, I relish the opportunity to shine and I imagined that you were similar! haha.
