Me: That’s right. What about Baba (Chinese for daddy)?
Stephen: Baba, Marvin, and Husband.
I didn’t realize I said “my husband” so often!

“Baba” is Ukranian for grandmother.
I had no idea that I was calling my grandmother “daddy” the whole time she was alive.
I don’t think she would be too happy to know this. Good thing she will never know.
lol I’m sure the pronunciation is different. And I’m confident the proper way of writing Baba in Ukranian is not 爸爸.

Interesting! I think many languages use Baba for father. Would be interesting to hear the pronunciations.
Maybe just “husband”…….Charlie has occasionally been callig us by our first names and grinning.
I find it amusing when Stephen calls me “Hsien,” but my mom didn’t like it. She says it’s disrespectful.
