Water Rats Be Gentle

From today’s Facebook Chinese horoscope for water rats:
With your children, you’ll obtain much better results by gentleness than by anger.
Hrmph. I don’t appreciate the insinuation.
BTW, here’s me on Facebook. Everybody’s there, don’t you know? Yes, I’m looking at you, dear sister.

I’m not on Facebook. I’m so frustrated with how thin it seems I have to spread myself (marketing, brushing shoulders, making contacts, etc.) that I’ve vowed to just stick with Writing Spark, my portfolio, and Linked-In (though I need to work a bit more on that one).
I do have a MySpace page, though I used it mostly to keep up with old friends. Every now and then, I’ll send a bulletin with a link to a Mental Health Notes or Writing Spark post, but that’s about it.
But know, if I had a Facebook account I’d for sure add you!
Oh I totally know what you mean. What I do is abandon one for another so I don’t bother with them all!
I’m scared to join. I feel like I am already out there so much with my blog. Have you found it useful or just annoying so far?
Facebook is a total waste of time but it’s strangely fun especially if you’re on it with a bunch of friends. There are silly games and things you can fool around with.
You can choose to reveal as much or as little information as you want. I never put online anything I wouldn’t want everyone to know or wouldn’t say to someone face-to-face so I’m not too worried about putting anything on Facebook than I wouldn’t anywhere else like here for example!
