The Forbes World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list has been released and I’m embarrassed to say that of the top 10, I only really knew who one of them was right off the bat.

- Patricia A. Woertz - Cochairman, Archer Daniels Midland, U.S.
- Irene Rosenfeld - Chairman, chief executive, Kraft Foods, U.S.

pst pst…Must have been a typo…Sonia Gandhi is President of India National Congress Party, not the country ^_^. She had won the last elections to become Prime Minister, but nominated Manmohan Singh to take the position.
But of the ten I know 2, Merkel & Sonia Gandhi! Mostly I guess cause I don’t follow business news…. it absolutely bores me! I did know China had a lady VP but never remember names.. :S
Oooh. Bad on Forbes. They didn’t make that clear on the list but they did on the profile itself. I also caught another typo where they misspelled the Philippines as “Philipines.”
I don’t see my wife on there … she rules my world.
Goodness. You are whipped!!
Hahaha! I know only 1 out of the top 10 - Sonia Gandhi! I should have known Ho Ching since I had lived in the same country.
Hi Jesie, Thanks for the comment! What’s your blog URL? Your link doesn’t seem to work….
I know 4 of the top 10, Merkel (I was in Frankfurt when she replaced Schroeder), Ho Ching (everyone in Singapore knows her), Condi Rice and Sonia Gandhi.
As you would say: Show-off.
From the rest of the list, I only know about Oprah, QE2, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Zaha Hadid, Aung San Suu Kyi, Christiane Amanpour and Queen Rania. Where’s your name? 101?
I’m at 102, after you at 101.
