Sheila: I also give my books away but I'm going to use LibraryThing as a catalog of all the books I've ever read and owned. :)

Busy Mom: We get to put our own Associate ID for the widget in the sidebar but when accessing the book at the LibraryThing site itself, it's their ID. :P

I love Library Thing, but, is it petty of me to not use it because it links to their Amazon Associate ID?

Neato! I have pruned my books down to about 50, mostly paperbacks. I decided to only keep books I will reread every year or so. I donate the rest to my local library. I get to feel civic-minded AND clear off my bookshelves. Heh.
