Our collapsible red plastic basket for grocery shopping. (January 7, 2007)
Chocolate cake from Tesco. (January 6, 2007)
Multi-purpose window sill. (January 5, 2007)
Perfect kite flying weather (not us). These boys attached the kite to some sort of go-cart. The winds were so strong and the kite so big that they became airborne at times. (January 4, 2007)
My mousepad Christmas present. (January 3, 2007)
TV-DVD-stereo set-up in guest bedrom so Marv and Stephen won’t fight over the TV in the living room. I remember when I imagined not having a TV at all in my idealistic days, then it was no TV in the bedroom, and now…. Talk about a slippery slope. (January 2, 2007)
Weird New Year’s Day breakfast - mini chocolate chip muffin atop crumpet a la Marv (January 1, 2007)
Tissue paper flower made on New Year’s Eve. (December 31, 2006)

That tissue paper flower reminds me of the ones I used to make in elementary school. Sure brings back memories!
LG: It was surprisingly easy to make! Tissue paper of different colors, cut circles of different sizes, layer from small to large, poke a hole through the middle, and fasten with a brad or pipe cleaner. This one came in a kit and was really fun!
I am totally with you about the TV thing. I used to just have the one, without cable when I was single. So I marry a Chief Engineer for FOX TV, and now, the only rooms that don’t have TV are kitchen/dining and bathroom. That’s it. We have 5 TVs and some time soon will have 6 in the house. Why, I don’t know. LOL
tiggerprr: Your husband sounds like he has a cool job! The TV all day, every day thing is driving me nuts over here. I hardly ever watch TV now but it’s not like I’m not glued to my computer, though.
[...] TV - Sadly, we now have one in the living room AND bedroom. [...]
