Guest Post from Jodi

My dear friend Jodi of more than 15 years is spending the night with us. Instead of having her pay for room and board, I’m making her guest blog instead!
I’ve known Hsien since 1990 when we both lived in the same dorm at Stanford. (That’s right, the mighty Cardinal who has the worst record in Pac-10 football this year.) I’d like to say that she has mellowed with age but then I doubt anyone would believe me. My favorite memory of Hsien from college? Well, there are several to consider. There was the time when we got my roommate a 5′ tall inflatable punching Weeble and Hsien started using it as a jousting weapon in the hallway. Another memory is when she had a retractable trick knife and she stabbed my friend Ryan and really freaked him out. Yet another, well, let?s just say it was a group blind date gone wrong. Very wrong. Ah, those were the days. Now instead of taking the opportunity to be all mushy about our friendship and the years we’ve known each other, blah blah blah, instead I will leave you with the secret of our friendship - if you don’t piss her off, she probably won’t hate you.
Ahhh, how well she knows me.

What a great suprise and delight to see a picture of you and Jodi!! Loved her guest post and hope you two are enjoying the mini-reunion!
Too funny. The “mellowing out” and “don’t piss her off” parts made me giggle. Good to know that in the 6 months so far I’ve figured out the important stuff! Great photo.
Wait a minute! I think I speak for everyone when I say I really want to hear more details about the group blind date gone very wrong. Heh.
how cute!!
teeheehee, yeah stanford’s football team sucks. haha :p
Trick knives? Jousting? If you don’t piss her off she won’t hate you? Sounds JUST like the Hsien I know and love!!
Glad you two are having lots of fun!
