Four Seasons Roast Duck Restaurant at Bayswater, London
Posted by Cottontimer on 10 Nov 2006 | Tagged as: Food, London
For the sole purpose of participating in National Standinaqueue Day, I took my mother-in-law to London’s famous roast duck restaurant, Four Seasons. Unfortunately, the famous queues that you can stand in on weekends were nowhere to be found. Ah well. Can’t complain especially after I ate until I was ready to pop!
We were still there early enough to make a short queue of five to commemorate the event.

I see you found my favourite duck place in London.
Isn’t the duck simply to die for?!?
I actually bought a whole duck home the last time I was in London earlier this year…
Can’t get good duck here, lah.
Here at Standinaqueue we are honoured that you went to such lengths to be part of the historic Standinaqueue Day.
I can not wait till I am next in Bayswater, when I will sink my teeth into that delicious looking roast duck.
My favoritest thing in the whole world is Peking Duck from Peking Duck Restaurant in Palo Alto, California. Mmmmmmmm. Thanks for bringing back that memory.
kachunknorge: We also bought a whole duck home this last time but I guess home isn’t so far for me.
william: Hope there’s a good queue waiting for you the day you go! Or maybe I shouldn’t be wishing that for you. ha ha
Sheila: So funny. I’ve never been to Peking Duck in PA although I often drove by it in the 4 years I was there. It was considered the place parents took their kids when they visited during the school year. lol

i went to four seasons and waited for a table.
there were 6 staff who were in the room but they all IGNORED ME while i stood there, being the only one in the queue - it was only 6pm.
good food is one thing but terrible service is unacceptable.
i hope ppl have some integrity and boycott the awful awful restaurant.
Hi edmund, Sorry you had a bad experience. I haven’t personally received poor service at Four Seasons so I can’t say that I would boycott the restaurant. I hear Goldmine down Queensway is also quite a good place for roast duck. Ever tried it before?
