I love my digital camera. I take it everywhere I go and if I happen to forget it (which is rare), I always miss a shot. Even though I always have my camera with me, I can still go days without taking a picture. That’s going to change with the Cottontimer Project 365 inspired by Photojojo.
Taylor McKnight’s six tips for documenting each day with photos (visit Photojojo for more details):
- Bring your camera everywhere.
- Make posting easy.
- Vary your themes.
- Tell a story.
- Don’t stop, no matter what.
- Post early, post often.
I’ll probably use flickr to organize this project especially since I’ve been meaning to get more familiar with it. I’m excited to start! Maybe I won’t even wait for the new year.

oh this is pretty neat! I always thought of doing something like this since my camera is small enough to fit in my pocket! But somehow didn’t! Now it has an interesting name!
so why not…hehe
Smitha: I started yesterday and will be showing my week’s worth of pics every Thursday so come and leave your link too so we can all have a look.
[...] Inspired by cottontimer I would really like to do the photo a day project. There are some days when I would like to post, but I don’t because I don’t feel like I have anything interesting to say and I don’t want to bore myself with details of my lunch, or my drive to work. This way- I could at least post a photo and talk about that. I also kinda like the discipline of posting a photo every day- trying to keep motivated. I like the idea of being able to track my year in photos. [...]
