What has blogging brought you?

Darren made a wonderful list of all the goodies blogging has bought people ranging from CDs to houses. It made me smile and feel grateful for all that blogging has brought me (not just “bought” but “bRought). Here’s my personal gratitude list:
- A sense of purpose
- A way to use my scientific training and knowledge
- A method for brushing up on my writing
- The challenge of learning more about the technical side of computers and the Web
- A place to synthesize all that I learn day-to-day
- A community of likeminded, supportive friends
- A new career trajectory
- A repository of memories
- Laughter
- Flexibility
- A new world
