Switched from Wanadoo/Orange to BT Broadband
Posted by Cottontimer on 13 Jun 2006 | Tagged as: London, Thoughts
Since I cancelled my Wanadoo/Orange Wireless & Talk broadband service a week ago, I’ve finally been able to sign up for BT Option 3 wireless broadband which is to be activated on June 20th - Marv’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. What a lovely gift that would be to both of us!
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting to be reimbursed as is Trevor Gay of Simplicity. He has written about his experience with BAD customer service and I’ve taken this piece of advice to heart:
We must never give up.
Sir Winston Churchill revisited his school when he was an old man in his 80?s. The entire school gathered in anticipation of one of Sir Winston?s magnificent speeches. The great man rose to his feet and said;
?Young men - Never give up. Never give up. Never give up?
Then he sat down again. None of the boys who were there will ever forget that. The message for customers is even when it feels impossible we have a responsibility to report and broadcast less than good customer care. If the organisation will not listen just shout louder is my advice.
I won’t give up until I get my reimbursement from Wanadoo/Orange and I won’t give up until I have reliable broadband service in my home that any decent paying customer deserves.

Bully for you! Never give up!
I enjoyed catching up on your posts. The rose photos are wonderful…I know I’d prefer London summers to those in Southeast Asia. My granddaughter-in-law is Vienamese. She and my grandson spent last summer in Saigon (I will always call it that) and nearly melted. I’ll take London any day!
Oh, and I agree, Stephen does strongly resemble his mother—who has a mighty fine haircut!
All the best,

goldenlucyd: Thanks for your support!! My haircut is ok but did you know I cut Stephen’s hair too? Now THAT’S a mighty fine haircut.
