Inside Google Book Search Blog
Posted by Cottontimer on 11 May 2006 | Tagged as: Blogging, Reading
When Google Book Search first came out, I had a lot of fun looking up various phrases that were on my mind. It’s almost like a touchstone for comparing my thoughts to those of published authors.
Soon after, I started a weekly series at Genetics and Health featuring genetics quotes from any kind of book that mentioned DNA, genes, or genetics. It didn’t matter if they were fiction or non-fiction, science or science fiction, serious or funny. If they mentioned genetics in an interesting way, they were featured.
I love Google Book Search. And now there’s a blog all about it.
This blog is about discovery — yours and ours. Here you’ll find members of our team sharing thoughts, tips and the occasional announcement about Book Search. We intend for this to be a place not only for Book Search enthusiasts, but also book lovers of every stripe. We’ll be highlighting cool books we’ve found, discoveries you’ve made, big thoughts about the future of book search and more.
Now the fun’s really begun.
