Where I Blog

I usually blog in the dining room surrounded by articles and
Stephen with his drawing supplies.
He’s playing Pingu on his own laptop here (courtesy of my parents).

I cannot help but notice you have no tidbits around evn though it’s in the dining room.
I wish Sadie would learn to use the mouse herself like that.
Farah: There’s actually a box of Bengawan pineapple cookies? tarts? buried under the articles.
And the rest are hidden away in the cupboard under the printer. Out of sight, out of mind….
river2sea72: You sure she can’t? Get her a couple of good games and she’ll learn in a jiffy.
She makes me sit with her and do the mouse while she plays her games on sesamestreet.com or pbskids.org - I’ve tried to get her to do it, but she just cannot press the right buttons or avoid the scroll wheel. I’ve tried simple kids mice. Nada.
And mind you, her dad is a computer engineer who has been writing computer programs since before he could read practically.
I use my dining room table but it’s no longer a dining room table—it’s just my desk!
river2sea72: Stop comparing her to daddy!
Maybe she’s just not ready yet. I know Stephen refused to draw or writer or any such thing until one day out of the blue he was doing it all the time. He even knew how to hold the pen/crayon properly without anyone sitting down and teaching him. *shock* Kids are amazing.
Kristina: As you can see, that’s happened to us too. We prefer to eat in the living room anyway b/c the TV’s there. Terrible.
