My most recent piece for local tourist and expat rag, Saigon Inside Out, is now available.

I’d miss it too, and Charlie would be yearning for some good summer rolls (his favorite).

Kristina: Well, one of these days we’ll have to get together and make some.
laurina: Thanks so much. I actually thought it was crap upon re-reading it. lol
Yup, we lived in Nagoya, Japan for almost 5 years but thought it was fairly reasonably priced. Of course, when we first moved there from Taiwan, we were a little shocked but it was nothing compared to London. I believe London beat out Tokyo as the most expensive city to live.
goldenlucd: Wonderful! Does your daughter-in-law have some experience with Vietnam?
I thought the article was well-written and fun to read
As for bland food, I don’t much like it most of the time either. Luckily, I can get tasty spices locally to liven things up a bit.
Deb: Thanks! You must be easily amused.
