Bird Flu in My Courtyard
Posted by Cottontimer on 01 May 2006 | Tagged as: London
These two ducks have been in our courtyard off and on for the past month. They especially like to hide in the rosemary bush at the end of our driveway on rainy days.

I have no idea why they keep coming back to roost in our bush. I checked for duck eggs and didn’t see any. But earlier this morning, I caught my neighbors feeding them bread so maybe they’re just back for some handouts.

Maybe they are just checking out a safe place for future egg laying.
June: So we may have fresh duck eggs to eat soon.
Is that a totally Chinese thing to say or what?
I haven’t had duck eggs, but I bet they’re yummy!
I love the pics of the ducks in the rosemary, hilarious!
Deb: Preserved, salted duck eggs are sooo yummy with plain rice porridge.
Those ducks are really lost, aren’t they?
