I’m an American elderblogger—I started blogging (and learning computer basics) in 02/06. I cruised the blogworld and was impressed by two younger bloggers—Cottontimer and riceandsoup—both Asian, by chance! I bookmarked the sites and returned whenever I was not having an 84 year old tech meltdown. It wasn’t often. But as I reviewed my links tonight I decided that I would want to keep coming back to your site as long as you keep posting and I keep breathing.

There’s much about what you write that doesn’t pertain materially to me. However, your writing is delightful and my family is intimately involved with both the Asian and Southeast Asian cultures. I enjoy not only your understanding of Asian and American culture, but I appreciate your science connection as well. My son is a nuclear physicist and global systems architect for HP—Please don’t hold that against me.

Trust me. My blog contains very little that will stimulate you orin inspire you. However, I am both intersted and inspired by your sensitivity, intelligence and faith in the future. I’ll keep coming back.
