Still On Dial-Up

Just thought I’d start keeping track. We lost our broadband connection on March 28th. Wanadoo says the engineers are looking into it and it could take another week or more.

Wannado used to be a company called Freeserve. We tried them once and vowed never to have anything to do with them again. We’ve been with Telewest since moving to our new house and haven’t had too many problems. That might not sound like a glowing review, but internet service here in the UK is spotty. We’ve also used BT and Demon, both with very limited success.

Right. Stop paying them as from now, and give them 7 days to sort it out or you want the contract cancelled, you’ll go elsewhere for broadband, and you’ll get advice from trading standards.
This has gone on for waay too long.

oh we would have thrown a fit. We did..and it only happened once…eons ago! The other day, Friday, our cable box seemed to quit working. The tech support said 3-5 working days, and I nearly threw a fit. Then I thought of you and said, “oh that’d be great! thanks!” They came on Sunday and fixed it! A pleasant surprise… Hope you get a few as well your way!!
