Sweet Stephen

Stephen’s been at his sweetest these past few weeks. He’s constantly offering loving hugs and says completely unprompted:
- I love you.
- I love you so much.
- I love you forever.
No matter how tired or annoyed I am, he always knows what to say.
- Mommy, your glasses are pretty. They’re purple. They’re new ’cause your old ones broken.
- Mommy, my feet don’t smell today!
- Mommy, you ok?
Wish he could stay my baby forever.

The golden age?
He looks sooo cute. But you already knew that!! How old is getting now?
oh how i love cheerful babies/toddlers! My parents’ physio therapist brings her niece along. She is 2.5. She follows me around while mom and her aunt were having the session, if I am at home. But she won’t touch anything without asking.
I was fixing the fax machine with the thermal paper. She was following closely helping me by instructing me to put it there. When I finally succeeded, she went, “ok, there. Good girl!” lol…she was tooo cute and adorable!!
And now and then she will come by and give me a hug for no reason at all! I can’t imagine you getting that treatment almost all the time (minus the time he is sleeping)…. must be cheering you up!
Too sweet!
I used to think that lots about Charlie when he was a wobbly toddler—I can still see that sweetheart look in his face today.
mdmhvopa: Bits of the gold are worn off in places, but it ain’t so bad.
Smitha: I think kids are cute until they hit 4. Stephen will turn 4 in August. We’ll reassess then.
Kristina: We were watching video clips of Stephen from just 6 months ago and he was so much more of a baby then. *sniff*
