I ~loathe~ shopping for clothing about 95% of the time. I'd say to put on your elegant-face makeup, and you can carry off any outfit, even if it is 10 years old and a little tired. Their ladies look like real people, with big boobs and saggy tummies, and they really help to find the bits that do look good and emphasize those. They talk through why we try to hide in oversized stuff, or remain fixed in an out-of-date style, because that was the time when we were happiest... I think they have a book out, try leafing through it in W.H.Smiths, and see what you think! Over the years I've been able to be more comfortable about dressing as "the real me," which is some version of Bay Area/Berkeley/Pacific Northwest, with too much black. Enjoy the time out and off!
