Here in Nashville there is a used clothing store called “Second Chance”.

Also a foot doctor named Dr. Head, and a head doctor named Dr. Foote. That could make for a good “Who’s on first?” story.

… and this isn’t really related to this post, but there was another hairdressers nearby called ‘Party Style’. That’s not especially funny in itself, until you saw the sign which was a really badly hand-drawn picture of two people with 70’s style bouffants and comedy cross eyes.

I always wanted to get a photo of that sign - doesn’t exist any more, though.

We used to have a hairdressers near us called ‘Million Hairs’. That’s really bad.

And a landscape gardener who called his business ‘The Ace of Spades’. That’s good. ;o)

deb: Ooooh. Toddler Escape is really good.

Joan: That’s so funny because the Shop Horror website told people not to send in any more submissions for “Curl Up and Dye.” I suppose main/high streets in Britain are quaint but they’re a bit less convenient than the huge Targets and other chain stores in the States.

There was a photo/picture gallery I knew and loved called “Shot, Framed and Hung”.

I also liked a butcher store called “…and two veg”.

It’s the English humour, I think. My Dad is the worst!
