Compliments

A few weeks ago, I received my first nasty troll comment. Luckily, it remains the only one I’ve ever gotten. At that time, I wondered why someone would take the time to write something so mean and negative. Why wouldn’t someone take the same amount of energy to write something nice and postive?
The Complimenting Commenter is doing just that. This week, s/he has issued a challenge to make it a Summer of Compliments by giving 100 compliments to 100 people either online or off.
The Complimenting Commenter’s blog gives off a such a strong positive vibe that it almost seems a little creepy if there weren’t other interesting tidbits to read. There are plugs for other blogs as well as quotes and info on the art of complimenting. You can even nominate yourself or others to receive a compliment from the Complimenting Commenter and friends.
Cute concept.
