Paper Keyboard

Are we too cheap to buy a real keyboard?

No. Somebody’s just a little confused….
Seeing Stephen play on that picture of a keyboard reminded me of my turn at a paper keyboard long ago.
When I was four years old, my mom decided that I should learn to play the piano. We couldn’t afford a real piano at first so she sketched all the octaves of the keyboard on paper and glued it to a low table.
Between that paper keyboard, my teacher’s piano, and the piano in the music room at the school where my mother was a teacher, I got a lot of practicing done until we got a real piano at home. That paper keyboard was the start to my moderately successful career as an amateur pianist, violinist, and string bassist.
Creativity and imagination are usually all it takes to get things rolling.
