At the park next to the city’s “premier” department store, Diamond Plaza,
a couple of guys were hanging out next to their motorbikes.
On the back of one of their motorbikes was this cage.
A water bottle is strapped to the very top, the second level houses three or four snakes,
and the smaller cage on the bottom right was a black bird with red eyes.
And people wonder why they’ll never be able to rein in bird flu here.

At the same park, there was a miniature world landmarks exhibit.
We’re standing by Big Ben and there was also the Sydney Opera House (right).
Other landmarks featured included the Hollywood sign in California, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Eiffel Tower.

Next stop was Reunification Palace where the South Vietnamese president lived
before the north and south parts of the country were reunified.
