Priorities

Stephen has been interested in space for a while probably spurred on by Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 2. He knows the names of the nine planets, that we live in the solar system which is in the Milky Way Galaxy, obsessively reads Space Adventure featuring the space shuttle, and enjoys watching space shuttle launches and landings at the NASA website.
Along with space fever, he’s learned that there are wonderful things to buy in this world and has been pestering us to get him a space shuttle. We told him we’d take a look when we’re in Singapore because Vietnam doesn’t have a good selection of toys.
Today, when he finished the last of his Bengawan Solo cornflake cookies, I told him that we’d get more in Singapore next time.
“How about buy space shuttle first?” he asked.
Stephen obviously has no trouble getting his priorities straight.
