Glutinous Rice Cakes

These two banh tet (cylindrical) and banh chung (square) each weigh about 1 kg (2.2 lbs).
They’re glutinous rice cakes filled with green bean paste and
fatty pork traditionally eaten during Vietnamese Tet.
One small piece will sit like a lead weight in your stomach for hours.

Giant banh tet, each weighing about 2 tonnes, will be paraded through town later this week.
