This puppy-sized lobster arrived at our door Saturday morning.
When it flipped itself over and started waving its long speckled legs in an attempt to escape,
Stephen and I screamed and ran for cover.
Later, I worked up the courage to bash it with a sauce pan.

It was too big to fit in my biggest pot.
So I had to cook it half in and half out.
I hope it enjoyed its hot tub.

Here it is all cooked and sitting pretty on the plate.

And here’s Marv ready to chomp on the enormous tail.
The tail is the length of Marv’s face.
Even though both of us ate some, there was still enough for the next day.

Unfortunately, I was too sick the next day to eat it.
Marv thinks the guck that I ate from inside the lobster head gave me food poisoning.

The lobster had its revenge after all.
