It’s Molar Time

Stephen must be getting his second molars because there is just no other explanation for all the signs and symptoms I’ve observed over the past couple of weeks.
- White teeth tips showing in the back of the upper right gum. Obviously the most convincing evidence of all.
- Snurgling indicating excess saliva caused by teething.
- Cranky. Wants me to carry him a lot during the day. Doesn’t play well on his own.
- Inability to sleep on his own for the first part of the night. Has to have me next to him. Nurses almost continuously all night long.
- Unexplained on-and-off fever for about a week with a little tiny bit of diarrhea for two days.
- Wanting to bite me. Lunges toward me with teeth bared, saying menacingly, “Eat mama! Eat mama!”
He seemed much better today. May he be a nice boy tomorrow with a nice touch (no hitting) and a nice voice (no screaming or excessive crying).
